TRUMAN Project Tagart

In this project, we will first focus on specific technologies touching different phases of the AI life cycle, including knowledge graph reasoning, continual learning, and LLMs.

Based on what is learned, we will produce a more generic methodology and adopt a holistic approach to evaluate and develop trustworthy AI solutions.

  • Annual Privacy Forum 2026 again supported by TRUMAN

    As in 2025, the TRUMAN project was present at the Annual Privacy Forum, APS2026, providing information on the project’s resujlts and latest activities, and discussing aspects of privacy, transparency, fairness, and accountability of AI systems in different applicatgion domains with the large, heterogeneous audience of attendees. Being present with a 3-headed team from Karlstad University, consisting of Henrik Grasshoff, Malten Hansen, and Meiko Jensen, the TRUMAN project perceived a lot of interest and intiations of future collaboration possibilities.

  • TRUMAN on ICE

    The IEEE International Conference on Engineering, Technology and Innovation (ICE) was held in Porto, Portugal in 2026. Here, a dedicated panel for all projects in the research cluster that TRUMAN belongs to was organized by HaDEA. TRUMAN was represented by partner PD, in person of Adamantios Ntanis, who gave an overview on the TRUMAN project work and use cases and answered a set of questions on issues of robustness and trustworthiness of artificial intelligence solutions. The panel also contained representatives from our sister projects AIXPERT and TURING.

    The Privacy Symposium in Venice is one of the most prominent events of the year when it comes to privacy and data protection topics. Attracting a high-profile audience from a really global community, issues of data protection law and its implementation in technical systems is debated among politicians, data protection authorities, academia, industry, and broader society – all of that in the beautiful scenery of the iconic city of Venice in Italy.
